Welcome to our free techno and acid Ableton Operator preset pack. It’s inspired by early techno including Jeff Mills’ bleepy FM techno as well as step sequenced detuned techno and acid. There a few different sinewave bleeps, acid tabs and frequency modulated techno sequences, as well as two Ableton racks to customize the sounds.

A run down of the Ableton Operator presets…
Here are some Operator patches for use in techno sequences, including Jeff Mills style sinewave sequences, acid techno racks, distorted saw waves and frequency modulated stabs.
It includes 2 racks: an acid techno rack with sub bass, and a sinewave techno rack inspired by Jeff Mills’ Something In The Sky EPs.
I know Operator is an FM synth, but it is great at analogue-style synthesis too. It has a great filter section with various Drive types for nice, distorted analogue techno hits. The acid techno rack is an example of this, with analogue acid style oscillators and sub bass under it too.
I really liked making the sinewave patches as it shows off Operators bleepey FM techno side.
