Welcome to our hub page for all our Ableton Analog Presets, where you can get every free preset and rack we have featuring Ableton’s Analog soft synth…
I love Ableton Analog, it’s a really simple synth, but capable of a lot, it’s great for subtractive, analogue modelling synthesis – you can do pulse width modulation, its has a big range for fine-detuning of the oscillators and built in filter drive modelling, some great unison too, and both its oscillators also have a sub bass osc underneath each one.
All of these mean it can make really thick and detuned sounds so it is great for old skool rave sounds and detuned, analog techno. I like to stack 2 or more Analogs together in a group for more oscillators, and map the main parameters for each instance to the macros so I can move one knob to control both synths and they act as one mega synth (I used this technique in my Techno Stabs Sample Pack).

Our Free Ableton Analog Presets
We’ve also made a few different posts with free Ableton racks that use Ableton Analog…, here’s a list of them below, but you can get them all in the Downloads section below, along with the others in this post.
- Free Ableton Analog Presets – Techno and Dark PWM – some techno and rave inspired presets for Ableton Analog. Free to download. I’m a fan of the early Joey Beltram detuned rave sounds and dark pulse width modulation rave basses. These presets here are designed as a homage to the early rave era. I’ve also included an Ableton rack for making detuned techno sequences.
- Ableton Analog Acid Presets (and rack) – a free Ableton Analog preset pack of acid patches, plus a rack with macros and effects to tweak and make your own 303 acid lines in Ableton. The Roland tb303 is a really famous mono synth, to replicate it I recommend using lots of 1/16 notes and then making a few overlap to replicate the 303’s sequencer and slide features.
Paid Ableton Analog Presets By Us And Other Studios

- Julien Earle has a good Ableton Analog specific pack here.
- I use Ableton Analog a lot in my Techno Stabs Sample Pack.
Please let me know if you know of any more good (free or paid) Ableton Analog presets or racks.
